Mr. Johannes Brunner – Commercial Counsellor – Austrian Embassy – Commercial Section and Mr. Hannes Machor – Minister Plenipotentiary – Austrian Embassy – Islamabad, along with accompanying members, recently visited the Sindh Archives on dated 25th November 2024. On this occasion, the Director of Archives, S.M. Mehdi Shah, and his team warmly welcomed them. The Director provided detailed information about the Sindh Archives and shed light on the history of Sindh. The guests were also taken on a tour of various sections of the Sindh Archives, where the processes of record preservation, conservation, and digitization were explained in detail. At the end of the visit, the Director presented a publication from the Sindh Archives as a souvenir. This visit played an important role in further strengthening bilateral relations and opened new avenues for collaboration between the two countries.
