Dr. Rudiger Lotz, the Consul General of Germany, paid a visit to the Sindh Archives, where he was warmly received by the Honorable Minister, Dr. Syed Junaid Ali Shah, from the Culture, Sports & Youth Affairs, and Human Resource Development Department, as well as the Honorable Secretary, Mr. Abdul Aleem Lashari, from the Culture, Tourism, Antiquities & Archives Department, and Director General Mr. Munawar Ali Mahesar, from the Culture Department. They were joined by Mr. Roshan Ali Kanasro, the Director of Archives, Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Makhdoom, the Deputy Director, and Mr. Akash Datwani, the Archivist, who provided detailed insights into the various sections of the Archives.
Dr. Lotz was greatly impressed by the remarkable work carried out by the organization. He lauded the exceptional efforts put into the conservation, preservation, and documentation of valuable historical materials, recognizing their uniqueness and significance. Dr. Lotz commended the dedication of the Sindh Archives officers and officials in preserving the historical records of Sindh. He expressed his gratitude to Honorable Minister Dr. Syed Junaid Ali Shah and his team for the opportunity to visit the Sindh Archives Department. As a token of appreciation, the delegation was presented with publications from the Sindh Archives.
