The Director General National Archives of Pakistan Mr. Muhammad Din Chakrani visited the Sindh Archives. Syed Muhammad Mehdi Shah, Director Sindh Archives, welcomed and briefed about Sindh Archives and overview conservation and digitization of rare and valuable source of material by using modern techniques. He visiting the Conservation Laboratory, Stack Area, Photo Gallery, IT Section, Library Section and Binding Section. Director Sindh Archives Syed Muhammad Mehdi Shah with Sections Incharge Mr. Muhammad Yousuf Khan (Senior Research Officer), Mr. Akash Datwani (Archivist), Mr. Abid Baloch (Senior Computer Operator), Mr. Muhammad Farooq (Technical Assistant), Mr. Hassan Jamil Abbasi (Microfilming Assistant/Library Incharge), Mr. Arsalan Farooq Shaikh (System Administrator) gave details about their sections. He shared his views with the authorities and termed Sindh Archives, it collection and administration as wonderful. He said that Sindh has set a good term of enriching and organizing their learned bodies and Sindh Archives is it excellent example.
