Dr. Naci YORULMAZ, Vice President of TİKA, Mr. Halil Ibrahim BASARAN – Head of TİKA – KARACHI, Miss Saliha – TİKA Development Expert, and Miss Fatima AZIZ – TİKA – KARACHI Programme Officer, visited the Sindh Archives Department, Government of Sindh. Syed Muhammad Mehdi Shah – Director Sindh Archives, Syed Tanveer Abbas Zaidi – Assistant Director and Mr. Akash Datwani – Archivist, along with the section incharges, welcomed them and highlighted the practices and method of Sindh Archives Department. They visited the various sections, including the Exhibition Gallery, Conservation Laboratory, Newseum, Binding Section, Stack Area, and I.T Section. The Delegation were impressed by the Departments efforts and praised the conservation, preservation, and documentation cataloging of historically significant materials. They commended the Sindh Archives officers and officials for their exceptional efforts in preserving the historical records of the Sindh Province and shared his feedback in the Visitor’s Book, in the end delegation were given gift of Sindh Archives souvenir & Ajrak.
